Embracing Resistance to Change: A Paradoxical Approach with Dr. Jim Maddox
Everyone’s capacity for change is different. It’s a natural human reaction to resist change that is sudden, unexpected, or perceived as an obstacle. On this week’s episode, Dr. Jim Maddox suggests that hidden within that resistance to change is potential value and clues to helping people - and ultimately organizations - move through it more easily.
If you’re undergoing personal and difficult change, this episode will help you think about change from a different lens. If you’re a leader, change agent, or OD practitioner, this episode will shine a light on how to better guide those moving through change. Sometimes, all we need in order to adjust is a new viewpoint.
